Privacy Policy

FanixBox (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights as a user of our Facebook Page management platform (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

When you use FanixBox, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and encrypted password when you register.
  • Facebook Authorization Data: When you connect your Facebook account, we receive an OAuth access token from Meta to access your authorized Pages. We do not store your Facebook password.
  • Page & Subscriber Data: Information about your Facebook Pages and the people who have messaged your pages (Page-Scoped User IDs and names), retrieved via the Meta Messenger Platform API.
  • Message Logs: Records of messages sent through our platform, including recipient names, delivery status, and timestamps.
  • Usage Data: Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and session activity used for security and service improvement purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the FanixBox platform and its features.
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • To facilitate sending messages through the Meta Messenger Platform API on your behalf.
  • To display credit balances and message delivery logs in your dashboard.
  • To ensure compliance with Meta’s Platform Policies and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • To communicate with you about your account or our services.
  • To improve our service and fix technical issues.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Meta Platforms, Inc.: When you use FanixBox to send messages, data is transmitted to Meta via the official Messenger Platform API in accordance with Facebook Platform Terms.
  • With trusted service providers: We may use third-party infrastructure (e.g., hosting, database) that processes data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • When required by law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal processes.

4. Facebook & Meta Platform Data

FanixBox integrates with the Meta Messenger Platform API. By connecting your Facebook account, you authorize FanixBox to:

  • Access the list of Facebook Pages you administer.
  • Read conversations on those Pages to load subscriber lists.
  • Send messages on behalf of your Page to users within the permitted 24-hour messaging window or using approved Message Tags.
FanixBox strictly complies with Meta’s Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and Messenger Platform Usage Guidelines. We only request permissions necessary for the platform to function. We do not use Facebook data for advertising targeting, profiling, or any purpose beyond directly operating the Service.

You can revoke FanixBox’s access to your Facebook account at any time through your Facebook Settings under “Apps and Websites”. Upon revocation, we will delete your associated Facebook authorization tokens.

FanixBox complies with Meta’s data deletion requirements. If you request deletion of your account or revoke app access, we will delete all associated Facebook platform data within 30 days.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or deleting your account from within the platform.

  • Facebook access tokens are stored only as long as necessary to operate the Service and are invalidated upon account deletion or permission revocation.
  • Message logs are retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting, then deleted.
  • Account data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with SSL/TLS encryption in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted password storage using bcrypt hashing.
  • HTTPS-only connections across all pages and API calls.
  • Session-based authentication with secure cookie handling.
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.

7. Cookies

FanixBox uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in during your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Your Rights

As a user of FanixBox, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Revoke Facebook authorization at any time via your Facebook Settings.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal data.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

9. Children’s Privacy

FanixBox is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
